การหนัก เมื่อไร้ จวนชีพ ว่าร้ายฤาดี |
Test a servnt, in pressing Test a friend remiss, Test a wife, in extremis Instructive are these |
service. by need. near death. revealing testimonies. |

| ห้ามเพลิงไว้อย่าให้ ห้ามสุริยแสงจันทร์ ห้ามอายุให้หัน ห้ามดั่งนี้ไว้ได้ |
มีควัน ส่องไซร้ คืนเล่า จึ่งห้ามนินทา |
Tell fire not to smoke, Tell the sun not to shine, Tell age, don't decline All such accomplished, |
do try! try it! to death! can you end slander. |

| รักกันอยู่ขอบฟ้า เสมออยู่หอแห่งเดียว ชังกันบ่แลเหลียว เหมือนขอบฟ้ามาป้อง |

Though divided by sky Love brings thy lover to thee Divided would ye be Under a sky cleft asunder, |

Oh, pain! This mundane sad love Never moves its way uprise. Like water downhill, 't will flow by, Why should love come back again? |

Though the earth may end and the sea, Eternally go on love and life. |

| พระแก้วพระอยู่เกล้า เผือจักตายฤาไคล พระเอยอย่าอาลัย ตายเมื่อใดจะได้ |
ยาไฉน คลาสไท้ เยียวอยู่ พระนา ดั่งนี้ฤามี |
My lord, even my life, If i were to die, For king, I desire Better than this death, |
my sire, it is fate. my life to give. what death can be? |

Should Siam live on We remain as long Should Siam be conquered, None of us can survive. |
